I-NERGY Launches 1st Open Call for SMEs & Start-ups with 50K Cash Win and Mentoring
ICT-49 Project I-NERGY launched its first Open Call on 8 Nov, seeking SMEs and start-ups to develop building blocks and applications for new AI algorithms/services and small-scale experiments (prototypes) to address the developments and implementation of technology and systems applicable to specific cross-sectorial challenges within the energy sector.

Successful proposals receive up to €50K in two deliverables, up to €10K in deliverable 1, for the individual mentoring plan and proof of concept, and up to €40K for the prototype development. The desired areas of experimentation are AI applications in energy; data governance and data valorisation for energy services; analytical applications in energy; monitoring, energy usage optimization; predictive maintenance; and demand forecast.

Candidates are encouraged to use their modules, models, and components and/or those of existing third-party resources available on the AI4EU platform, including a small number of I-NERGY assets that can be used for inspirational purposes. 

The application deadline is 20th January 2022 at 17.00 CET (Brussels Time). Prospective proposals are recommended to read the Guide for Applicants before starting to fill in the Application Form.
