Open Source Community Meets in Brussels

Join the AICE OpenLab meetup on November 24th, 2021. The event is organized by the Eclipse Foundation in virtual format and face to face in Brussels. AI4EU Senior Solution Architect Martin Welß will host a session on the AI4EU Experiments Platform.

The Eclipse Foundation has initiated the AICE (AI, Cloud & Edge) OpenLab to create a collaborative environment for open source software collaboration and innovation. The AICE OpenLab targets users in industry, research institutes and academia who wish to experiment with or evaluate AI technologies on different cloud and edge architectures. Providing testbeds and open source governance, the AICE OpenLab aims at building a community dedicated to developing AI solutions based on security, privacy and open specifications.

The AICE OpenLab meetup gives this community an opportunity to join forces and exchange ideas. The AI4EU Experiments Platform will be introduced as an open source project by Senior Solution Architect Martin Welß who has lead the platform development for the past years. In other keynotes and sessions, speakers from industry, administration, foundations and research institutions will present a broad range of projects and initiatives centered around the ideas of open source development, interoperability, compatibility and collaboration.
