Project Timeline

June 1, 2025 – June 1, 2026

This R&D initiative focuses on the FLXY Autonomous Data Ingestion Engine, the AI core of the Fluxy.one platform. The engine uses proprietary Computer Vision and Machine Learning models to process, classify, and normalize unstructured supply chain documentation (PDFs, images, certificates) in real-time, drastically reducing manual effort required for ESPR DPP creation.

Ongoing R&D in FLXY AI-powered Regulatory Technology Goal:

The primary goal of the FLXY-ADIM project is to achieve zero-touch data onboarding for the Digital Product Passport (DPP) by replacing manual data entry with the proprietary FLXY AI Engine. The R&D is modularized into three key components currently in iterative development:

WP 1: FLXY Computer Vision (CV) Module – Document OCR & Extraction Focus: Development and refinement of CV models for high-accuracy Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and structured data extraction from heterogeneous supply chain documents (e.g., certificates, reports).

WP 2: FLXY Machine Learning (ML) Module – Classification & Normalization Focus: Training ML models to automatically categorize document types and validate data integrity. This module handles data normalization, mapping raw, extracted values into the structured data required for GS1 and JSON-LD DPP templates.

WP 3: FLXY Natural Language Processing (NLP) Module – Multilingual Output Focus:Development of NLP pipelines for high-fidelity, automated translation of all DPP content into the 24 official EU languages. Impact: The resulting FLXY AI engine is key to scalable ESPR compliance, particularly for European manufacturers and SMEs, establishing a vital piece of Circular Economy infrastructure.
