Within this package, datasets are being recorded from moving trains for public transport applications and object detection systems are being developed for smart warehouses. These initiatives not only improve safety and efficiency, but also introduce an unprecedented level of automation in these sectors.
Resilience and Independence for Europe
The distributed approach to artificial intelligence in dAIEDGE offers a key advantage: independence and resilience to failures in centralised systems dominated by large market players. This approach also strengthens the EU's ability to develop more robust technologies adapted to local needs.
