Summary:

BETTERGY S.L., a Spanish SME specialized in solar software analytics, launched the AI4SS project with the goal of revolutionizing the design and operation of solar+storage systems through artificial intelligence. The core idea of AI4SS is to empower operators with AI tools capable of producing high-resolution forecasts for energy consumption and generation, enabling optimal battery scheduling, and identifying faults before failures occur. The system supports energy communities and flexible energy management, contributing to the decarbonization goals of the EU. On the business side, AI4SS will be offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), allowing users to model, control, and monitor energy systems through a unified interface. With solar storage adoption rising sharply in Europe (+65% in recent years), the product addresses a growing demand for smart energy operations. The expected rollout is planned for late 2024, with exponential revenue growth projected in 2025 from operations and maintenance licensing.
