Concept Proposal — Athena + Imago

Hello everyone,
As anticipated in my introduction post, here is the concept proposal for Athena + Imago, the human-centric digital ecosystem I am developing, originally inspired by a fictional scenario and now shaped for real-world application within the European AI landscape.

1. Abstract

Athena + Imago is a European digital ecosystem combining a certified, identity-verified social platform (Imago) with a modular AI framework trained exclusively by verified professionals (Athena).
Its mission is to protect authentic human knowledge, enable fair data monetisation, support an internal redistribution economy, and offer high-quality, domain-specific AI modules for institutions, industry and research.

Please note: Athena + Imago is currently a conceptual proposal (TRL 1). No platform, dataset or AI system has been developed yet. I am sharing the idea here for discussion, refinement and research-oriented collaboration.

2. Imago — Certified Human Knowledge Platform

Imago is a verified digital environment where:

identities are certified
content is human-originated and traceable
users can monetise their data transparently
contributions are validated through reward-based peer review
creative, technical and professional knowledge becomes economically valuable
an internal “digital basic income” mechanism redistributes value
companies can interact with users in a safe, compliant framework

3. Athena — Modular Human-Trained AI

Athena consists of:

a central reasoning core
domain-specific modules (medical, legal, engineering, arts, etc.)
training performed only within Imago by verified experts
human-verified knowledge
peer validation
compliance-ready design
It aims to address AI cannibalisation and the degradation of model quality caused by AI learning from AI-generated content.

4. Economic & Social Model

reward mechanisms for contributions
an internal digital basic income

Athena + Imago is a European human-verified digital ecosystem designed to protect real knowledge in the age of AI. Imago certifies identities, ensures traceability, and enables ethical data monetisation. Athena is a modular AI trained only by verified professionals within the platform, ensuring quality, safety and human-origin information. This concept aims to build a redistributive digital economy, support trustworthy AI, and prevent model degradation caused by AI learning from AI-generated data.
